Great location, good coffee next-door and Terra restaurant very close. Loved being so close to everything and the beach. Comfortable clean room. The pool was great for some morning exercise. We were very happy with our short stay here.

Lovely place - pity about the Wi-Fi
My wife and I stayed at the Waterfront Suites for three nights in October 2023. Our room was very nice and well-appointed, and the location was perfect. I would have rated it as five stars except for the very poor internet connection through the Wi-Fi. When I brought it up at reception, I was told to call an outside number (I have to say that the personnel were lovely – this is a management decision). As I didn't have a NZ phone, I had to call from reception. Of course, no one answered, and we had to put up with very slow, or non-existent internet access for our entire stay (I couldn’t even upload a single image). A good internet connection is essential these days, almost as important as electricity. Making the guest call a third-party service provider is akin to having to call the local electric company when the power is out. Waterfront management should improve the connection and take control of support.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped. It is super close to all of the main areas of Paihia The suite itself was so well appointed.

Très joli appartement en bord de mer, parfaitement équipé avec un coin cuisine/salon et une chambre séparée avec sa salle de bain équipée d'un lave-linge et d'un sèche-linge. L'appartement est donc vaste et confortable, et également d'un calme absolu. La piscine est un joli plus également. Niveau restauration, il y a des nombreux restaurants à proximité que ce soit pour le petit-déjeuner ou le dîner. La cuisine permet bien sûr d'être autonome. La résidence est équipée d'un grand parking souterrain.

Thank you for your review Six of you tried to book in for a booking for five guests in a room with a maximum of five guests. Sorry we don't accept people sleeping on the floor as you thought would happen. Noise complaints from other guests and residents on the final night of your stay. The bad language and shouting was not acceptable. Broken glass left all over the stairs up to your room. Yet you seemed to think it all amusing when I spoke to you before you checked out. Other guests and residents didn't find it too amusing.

Fantastic location, right by the main restaurants, shops and the pier. Good modern facilities that were clean and tidy. Small but warm, salt water swimming pool, accessed directly from most ground floor rooms. A few of the cutlery and crockery had been put away dirty by a previous guest, but this was understandably missed by the housekeeping staff, who were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend booking a room for a relaxing getaway. The cost is a bit higher than most of the similar options but worth it for the location and facilities provided.

The location is right on the waterfront and close to all the good restaurants but the units are quiet and designed for privacy. We had a one bedroom which was ground floor by the pool and it was great for a couple. Secure parking under the building is a bonus.

This property is quite new and the two bedroom suites is spacious. The elocation is very convenience. A very enjoyable stay for us in Paihia.
