'Beautiful hotel right on the lake. Had a small issue with the staff charging more at check-in but they quickly corrected it. Other than that, the staff and location were great. The only other small suggestion would be to improve the ac in the rooms. There is ac in the rooms but it doesn’t work well.'

'Exceptional stay at Posada de Don Jose! Posada de Don Jose is an absolutely wonderful hotel. Everything is spotless, exceptionally well cared for, and the staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to stay. A small delicious breakfast is available for a small extra charge and is well worth it. The location is okay: just a 10-minute walk to the town center and about 20 minutes to the ferry docks. Tuk-tuks pass by frequently...

'Exellent service'

'No problem with the people but the hotel itself needs help.'

'Great location, friendly staff, good food available at the restaurant! Close to everything in town, we loved our short but sweet stay!'

'The hotel is in a terrible shape. Our bedroom door was broken, the bathroom door did not close and its veneer was peeling off. Bathroom faucets were loose from the wall and the bathroom shower curtain was halfway down. The hotel does not have drinking water and when asked for it, the staff directed us to buy bottles at grocery store. There was a water cooler at the entrance. Handrails were not securely attached to the wall. The pool was dirty, pieces of small debris in the bottom and the color...
