'Our stay at La Esmeralda was absolutely wonderful. We spent 2 nights here and I loved the location to the airport and Old San Juan. It’s close to everything! The room was well kept with AC on when we arrived. Check in and Check out process was so efficient and easy. Even provided free secure private parking. There was a dog next door that barked at night. 'This place is superb! The rooms are simple yet chic and clean. Very clean! This place is spotless. There is a small restaurant on site that I did not try, but they had some home made desserts that were amazingly fresh and delicious. Good coffee too! But the most important thing is the staff. I felt like family. Sounds cliche but in this case that was 100% true. When you call, a person answers. No robots no AI. They keep distance but also remember your name and chat as much as you want or not....
