'Casa Ciana ligt in een onprettige buurt. Wij kwamen ‘s avonds aan en wilden graag iets eten. We voelden ons niet veilig om naar een restaurantje te lopen(vervallen buurt, prostituee’s langs de weg en louche barretjes). Het inchecken gaat met codes die je in moet tikken. Heel onpersoonlijk. Je ziet niemand. Onze kamer was piepklein. Ik kon mijn koffer niet openen. De kamer was wel netjes en schoon met een goed bed. De prijs kwaliteit klopt niet. Veel te duur voor hetgeen je krijgt.'

'My wife and I went on a cruise. We arrived in San Juan a day before, and El Colonial is one of the best places to stay since it's only a 10-minute walk to the Royal Caribbean cruise port. It is also conveniently located in Old San Juan. Our room was comfortable and the air conditioning works well. There's also a bar in the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. 'Booked this hotel for one night before a cruise. Very clean and perfect for my stay. There is no elevator, however, the staff will assist with taking the luggage up and down. I booked a room on the first floor, but was placed on the second floor. Very kind and professional staff. Definitely recommend this hotel! '
