We were warned by local friends that the area is dangerous, but felt safe walking in and out of Harlem to the city as well as by tube at all times and had a really good time in NYC. 'We really appreciated this apartment while traveling with our toddler, who was quite overwhelmed by the city. It was such a quiet, spacious, calm place to return to. We could have used a curtain to better block the light for sleeping and a sharper knife (we must be the only people who cooked so much during a stay in NYC...as I said, our kiddo didn't love going out on the town), but other than that, the stay was perfect. 'We were 11 people in this oasis. We appreciated the two floors and the two indoor parking spots. The property was very clean and well equipped. 2 showers and 3 restrooms were a must for 11. The property is about 15-20 minutes away by walk from North Elizabeth station. The train ride is about 30 minutes to NY Penn Station.'
