'The location was perfect for me—just far enough from the town center to be quiet, yet close enough to walk or ride a bike. The apartment was priced right for everything it offered. I felt safe, and the hosts were incredibly kind. This is where I’ll stay when I return to Loreto. If you just need a quick bite, there are two small restaurants within a block, along with a nearby convenience store.'

'Edgar, Christina and their little fella were wonderful hosts! Personable, willing to provide any necessities, answered a lot of “Gringo” questions! This unit has the basics - a comfortable bed, quick hot shower, purified water, coffee so strong it’ll put hair on your chest! (ladies, take note!) . . . and WiFi! We cooked most meals in the kitchenette; complete with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator. Took this trip to simply become acquainted with Loreto, walking a lot of steps to compensate...

This trip I spent a month in the Los Barriles area staying in all the rentals on the beach I had not checked out in the many years I’ve been coming and I keep coming back to the Casita at Ricks place. 'This property is in a very secure community, the hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating while also leaving us to ourselves. We are chatty, however, so we spent time talking with them, learning about the area, recommendations for local spots etc. Highly recommend! There isn’t a kitchen but there is a microwave and coffee maker. But we travel to enjoy the local cuisine not cook ourselves. But it was nice to have a way to heat up some leftovers. 'Very comfortable apartment with a good bed. You need to include the name of the complex(Vista los Suenos) in the description because the cab drivers did not know where Colina del Sol was located. It is located up on a hill, so a car is recommended.'

'The condo was great. Clean, modern, spacious, and fully stocked. It’s in a great location. The property is really nice, but, some of the amenities aren’t finished. The rooftop pool is great. The bar is really cool. You can walk anywhere in town. The parking garage is secure and convenient. We will definitely come back. The only downside is that the road outside is noisy. '
