'The highlight of staying at this hotel is the beautiful gardens which surround the villas and pool. From our balcony we enjoyed looking out onto flowering tropical plants, palms and listening to the birds sing. The photos in the ad for this hotel are exactly what you can expect. 'Het enige goede was de afstand tot de luchthaven. Het zogezegde a la carte ontbijt kwam neer op de keuze hoe je je eieren kon laten bakken, meer was er niet a la carte. Steeds dezeldde rijst en gebakken bananen, ik dacht dat ik in cuba zat. Wij hebben hier vier dagen verbleven waarvan 4 teveel. Ten zeerste af te raden. Lichten en kluis werkten niet, op een dag stonden zowel onze voordeur en achterdeur wagenwijd open, ze hadden de lampen hersteld. Gelukkig waren we niet lang weg. De gelukkige...

'Groen wat de klok slaat. Prachtige grote bomen die veel bezoek van diverse soorten vogels krijgen. Iternet vrij beschikbaar van het hotel (2 computers) Jammer geen wifi voor op de kamer of elders. Rond het hotel is niets te doen. 2 km. strand voor 30 mensen in maart!!!! Veel brandjes die gewoon niet geblust worden. Zelfs Kabelpalen van hout zijn gewoon aan het branden. Niemand doet er iets aan. 12 km. verder Coco beach is nog aardig, Om 9 uur is het doodstil overal. Doet niets af aan het hotel -...

'Geweldig hotel direct aan het strand. Het strand zelf is rustig en de zee heeft een heerlijke temperatuur. Er komen zelf apen over het terrein 🐒 Ruime kamer met een goede badkamer en een goede douche. Restaurant is ook goed. Zeker een aanrader!'

'Unique “treehouse” experience. Amazing forest/mountains view. It was quite of a delight to stay in such of eco-friendly environment. Great food at the Hotel Taru restaurant. 'The hospitality was outstanding. The bar and restaurant staff were so nice and kind; and got to know us on a first name basis. The room was beautiful. The shower was next level. The double shower heads and the outside view had me taking multiple showers a day. Additionally the view from our partial ocean view room was beautiful. I would definitely return to this property.'

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'Mooi hotel in rustige prachtige omgeving. Strand heel mooi en zeer rustig. Geen opdringerige verkoopwrs. Hotel is verder prima met ontbijtbuffet. Zeer mooie grote kamers. Dorp moet nog wel groeien.'
