'Kind people operating it. The property has a great view to the Pico Mountain, there are multiple houses lined up on a small street. It's a very peaceful vibe. It's within walking distance (an a beautiful walk - nice village with flowers, and fruits) to a cafe/bakery, a couple of restaurants, and a nice natural pool for swimming.'

'It is a nice hotel with an abundant breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we had a room with view of the parking lot. We could change to a suite but had to pay €40 per nicht extra. There are rooms with a view on the pool. These are so much better. I guess if you make a booking with Expedia they give you the cheapest room even though you pay the full price. '

Wij hadden een appartement achter, met tuin en zicht op de berg. Zeer ruim en mooi. De tuin is prettig besloten, met buitentafel en stoelen en een lounge set. De keuken is goed uitgerust. Ontbijt (ruim continental) wordt in de hal geplaatst en je kunt zelf pakken wat je wilt en eten in je appartement. Badkamer is compact maar goed, slaapkamer ook niet heel...

'The basic necessities are provided; beds are comfortable and the place is clean. Need to Whatsapp owner to get information to get onto the property because messaging in Portugese otherwise. Property said air conditioning but the air conditioning was broken. It was cool enough though so not a problem. Walkable to the ocean and natural pool and nice restaurant down the street. It is located in Sao Roque which is in the middle of the island so nothing is far away if you are driving. Parking ample...
