'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.'

The host was not able to welcome us in person but via the phone we received all essential information, we could always reach her by phone. 'Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet, rustikale Möbel, bequeme Betten, tolle Terrasse. Meerwasser Becken fußläufig erreichbar, allerdings steile Straße. Sehr gutes Restaurant in Laufweite. Vermieter sehr nett, ein defekter Toaster wurde umgehend ausgetauscht. Ausreichend Parkfläche auf dem Grundstück, Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr steil, gutes Fahrkönnen empfehlenswert.'

'We spent a very good time on the island Fajal. Time to enjoy nature, to come down and just relax. The place of the apartment was well looked after; close by we could go to the sea, swim and have a look around visiting the imposant nature miracles.The garden and the house invited to have a rest on the balcony to have a good glass of wine. The laundry washing machine should also be able to dry because with that humidity and frequent rain it's almost impossible to leave it dry outside.
