'Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. 'Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.'

'Wat een geweldige locatie en een geweldig huis. Het aparte is dat je 2 deuren hebt. De ene deur gaat naar zitkamer, slaapkamer en badkamer. De andere deur gaat naar keuken, 2de slaapkamer met badkamer ensuite. Dit maakt deze accommodatie ook leuk. Het terras en de tuin is echt geweldig. 'We choose this apartment where we stayed for a week for its central location and this turned out to be the case. It is located close to the regional road to the mountain area and Lajes. The host was not able to welcome us in person but via the phone we received all essential information, we could always reach her by phone. 'We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals.'

'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

Myself, my sister, daughter and son in law had plenty of space, 3 separate bedrooms, 3 separate bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and a store around the corner for supplies. Wonderful outdoor space. Gated property. Communication with Zelda was a breeze. She was very helpful explaining how appliances worked and places to explore. We loved our stay!!!! Thank you!!!'

'Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...
