'We had a wonderful stopover in Chiusi, a nice little village, 2 hours from Rome. The room was beautiful, spotless clean. The owner recommended a very good restaurant. The car could be parked on the premises. Breakfast was excellent, everything was homemade.'

'We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. 'One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. Absolutely lovely, just like the pictures! I will say of all the places we have been in Italy, this was the most authentic and real Italian stay.
