'This is a great space. Quiet, serene, clean, comfortable and close to what you need. Our family of three had a great stay and highly recommend!'

'Nice quiet clean room with fully equipped kitchen. Great for a small getaway. We could walk right out to the canal and watch the manatees and dolphins swim. Also saw an eagle flying over as well as several other species of birds. If you have a boat you can dock outside your door in the canal or rent a boat from nearby. '

'The staff is friendly, the pools are beautiful, the variety and quality of food is great, the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only suggestion would be that they should add a shuttle to and from the airport.'

'This hotel was perfect It was decorated beautifully and was so clean and the bed was so comfy and the rainfall shower was very nice, the room had everything you could need for a nice vacation there’s a market within walking distance which had everything you need to make your stay perfect highly recommend this hotel anytime we come back to Sanibel we will always stay here '

'Room was clean and beautiful. Location cannot be matched, we had a harbor side view. Only downside we noticed was since the renovation from time shares to hotel suites, the noise from the rooms next door does seem to have increased. Walks were thin and we could hear our neighbors whenever we were in the room. Sound machines definitely helped drown it out at night as we did not spend too much time there during the day. Noise from shoppers and restaurant goers was very minimal and stores close by...

'Clean hotel in general, front desk staff was very kind, room was spacious and clean. The only recommendation would be to install towel hooks in the bathroom. Didn't know where to store. them to dry'

'The room was spotless and so well appointed!!! Hooks on the screened porch for towels and wet swimsuits, is a great example. The kitchen had everything I needed for simple meal prep. and I appreciated the keurig. The staff was friendly & helpful. The grounds felt safe for a solo traveler. The boardwalk and outdoor chairs made the gulf easily accessible! The individualized parking was so convenient & appreciated!! I absolutely recommend The Shalimar⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'

'Prachtig pension op een geweldige - vooral tropische - lokatie. Prima kamers met uitzicht over een baai. Goed ontbijt met vooral veel vers fruit. De natuur is schitterend, ga er niet naartoe voor restaurants/uitgaansgelegenheden.'
