'Great location and super clean! It was quaint we loved the private patio, use of beach carts, towels, and chairs. An ice cream store next door- score!! The beds are comfortable. We will visit again!!'

'We stayed for 4 nights and were there to go shelling on Sanibel Island. The location to Lighthouse Beach was amazing. It was easy to get all around the Islands. The king bed was comfortable while the day bed is a fold away-a little insecure for an adult. We put a suitcase under it for support to make sure we didn't break it. We will return to Parrot Cottages!'

'I usually stay beachfront, but I will now stay here with my family!! Everything is brand new. Some units connect via the laundry center, so family can walk between each unit without going outside! Love the decor! Kids loved the bikes & rode all over. Even though you have to walk a bit to the beach it’s not that bad & they had backpack chairs. I could go on & on, but FABULOUS!!'

'I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. 'Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. 'It was typical Florida HOT! Location and Cottage was GREAT. I do have one suggestion for you. I am 6'2" 280 and the shower in #2 Sandpiper was small. If you expand the shower to fit the walk-in area it would work out a lot better. I enjoyed the cottage and area a lot. 'The property is well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking even a blender. The traffic starts early so a bit noisy since our bedroom windows were near the street. The pool is a very nice size. An easy bike ride to the beach at the end of Donax.'
