There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore.'

'We had a wonderful time with our family at Cheryl’s beautiful home. This was our first time to Twain Harte and the location is great! There were 11 of us and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed 4 nights around Easter and Cheryl welcomed us with Easter gifts! Very clean and comfortable home! Definitely would stay again! We also took a trip to Columbia which is only a 30 minute drive. There is a family of deer that love hanging out and we watched them from the deck....

'It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway.'
