The property is rustic and beautiful, with a wonderful swimming pool with a newly refinished bottom. It's a few miles down an unpaved road, and although it's a rocky road, it's worth it to arrive to such a peaceful and quiet place where the birds are the loudest...

'If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. 'If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...
