Everything met and exceeded expectations. Beautiful townhouse, well furnished, in a fabulous setting. Quiet and uncrowded beach but a short walk into town. The views from the unit are spectacular and the property manager, Gabe, is very responsive and so helpful with everything from recommendations to setting up side trips. One day he took my wife and me to Chichen Itza and his wife and daughter took us out to dinner one night to one of his favorite restaurants. The owner, Pamela, is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this property.

Truly an outstanding choice to vacation! Pamela's penthouse was perfect! Our concierge contact Gabe was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. We got a ride from him on return to the airport for our departure, very great guy! The penthouse was wonderfully clean upon our arrival, thanks to Gabby! We really had everything we needed there on site. The resort staff were all very personable and polite. Dinner at the resort restaurant is delicious, the menu changes nightly so that's a cool switch up. Breakfast and lunch are great too! If we didn't want to eat on site, the resort is a perfect location for walking to the paseo and local restaurants scene, you can easily get a taxi for travels a bit further away. Strolling up and down the beach is lovely. The views are priceless!Overall would recommend Pamela's place to anyone looking to have a phenomenal vacation experience.

This was an excellent place to stay. The house was in good working order, met the expectations from the pictures and the AC worked perfectly for an August visit with no issues. When we needed help with items Gabriel stepped in and got us everything we needed. In addition Gabriel set us up with multiple trips and was always available to answer any questions ans was integral to us having a great trip. When you book ask for Gabriel’s WhatsApp to get info before you come he is full of good info. The facilities are super nice and even though we have sargassum to deal with it was a beautiful place and was very kid friendly.

Loved it - hope to stay there again!

Our family of four loved our stay -- the condo is the perfect size with 2.5 baths and 2 bedrooms (a very spacious master with a great view.) The pool area is very nice along with an extremely friendly, service-minded staff. We also received excellent, prompt communication with the property manager as well as Pamela, the owner. Just one thing that brought my rating to a 4-star in terms of the listing -- I asked at the concierge about using the paddle boards/water toys and they said they didn't have anything for the water. Not a huge deal, but we were hoping to kayak or paddleboard. Otherwise it was a nearly perfect vacation -- highly recommend this property and area!

The property was just as described! The pool was a wonderful break from the heat. The view was glorious. In the very hot weather we had, the walk to and from town was about at our limit, but the sights along the way were worth it. The taxi option was also easy. Gabriel enhanced our getaway. He responded quickly to a minor issue with the pump for the purified water, and he provided excellent restaurant recommendations. He also facilitated a great adventure for us! We had a great trip. The sargassum impacted our enjoyment of the beach, but that is not within anyone's control. Five stars!

We had a lovely stay overall—the property was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The home is well-equipped and with a beautiful view, made for a relaxing getaway. The resort’s staff is also friendly and helpful. We have previously stayed in this exact condo 20 years ago for several consecutive summers. The new renovations are very nice and Pam is a great host. However, I do wish we had known ahead of time about the sargassum situation on the beach. Unfortunately, due to the heavy seaweed and cleanup efforts, beach access was restricted during our stay, which was disappointing since beach time was a big part of our plan. Not only was beach access restricted, but the odor from the seaweed was overwhelming and made it unpleasant to spend time outside near the shore. Because of the sargassum situation, we had to travel to other beaches like Puerto Morelos, Akumal and Cenotes which added unexpected transportation and entrance costs. This significantly increased the overall cost of our vacation and was disappointing, especially since we had chosen the property largely for its beach access. Fortunately, thanks to Gabriel - the property manager who was available 24/7 and a wonderful person, we were able to plan the above mentioned activities. He was knowledgeable of the area, as well as accessibility to other local beaches and provided the necessary transportation. We hope to return,Under different circumstances to enjoy the beautiful Playa Del Carmen

Had the best time. Property Manager and Owner were so easy to get in contact with to answer any questions. Hotel staff was very friendly. Condo was clean and had great internet access. Easy check in and out with hotel staff. Beach was great and close to town.

Dream Spring Break Trip

Pamela and Gabriel were awesome! Suite was just as advertised. Cannot even begin to describe the view in a way that would do it justice. Hearing the waves from the suite was so relaxing. Beach and pool were both fantastic and not at all crowded. No issue getting chairs. We had a great time exploring the city. Will most certainly be back some day!

Excellent Property for a Wonderful Family Vacation!

I highly recommend this property. There are steps to take to get up to your specific condo, but they are very manageable and the walk to the beach is quite short. You can take a road despite being a gated property to downtown, which is about 1 mile away so it’s quite enjoyable in the morning and there’s many places to get coffee if you want an iced latte, etc. The staff was very kind and the Caesar salad at the restaurant was delicious. There are umbrellas, but wear a lot of sunscreen because they don’t block the sun completely. That would be my only complaint. The pool is nicely sized for the size of property and the Jacuzzi‘s great. I really enjoyed the property size as you never felt overwhelmed with people. We definitely will be back and Pamela, the condo‘s owner, was fantastic with communication, tips, and advice to make everything go smoothly. This is the best VRBO experience I have had and I have rented from many. Finally, the view from the condo was incredible.

Fabulous - I highly recommend.

The entire experience was wonderful. The condo, pool and resort is kept immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and provide impeccable service with great tasting food. The views are just as incredible as shown, which is great if you get a rainy afternoon. I loved just sitting and staring at the Palm trees swaying, turquoise water and ever changing clouds. The beds are very comfortable, great kitchen.We enjoyed the walk into town along the lush boulevard with Mayan ruins and beautiful homes. We felt safe at all times. The massage at the spa, oh yes.We used the recommended driver from the airport and he was great, he took us to the grocery store, then the condo manager took us for a second trip for a small fee and helped us maneuver. We had a heavy rainstorm one night, and noticed a water leak. The condo manager had the roof inspected and repaired within hours of our contacting him. I highly recommend this place.

Out of the way, quiet slide of paradise.

This property is exactly as described and what the pictures show. Amazing views of the ocean, which is 50 feet from the condo balcony. The condo is comfortable and spacious. The property itself is a resort. The staff are very friendly, professional, helpful, and always available. One of the big benefits of this property is how quiet it is. Playa del Carmen can be noisy and has an active night life. Avenida Cinco is an 8 minute walk away, but none of that nightlife was apparent at the property. It is a hidden oasis. There are two restaurants on the property. The main restaurant off the lobby is open for breakfast (until 11!) and dinner, and a poolside, ocean front bar serves in between. Both are absolutely excellent! Far better than we anticipated. The breakfast buffet is incredible. Dinner menus change nightly. We tried it all, including short ribs, fresh lobster grilled tableside, a variety of fresh fish, and so much more. Even our kids loved it! There is no store on property, so for any supplies (coffee, snacks) you have to walk to town, which is about a 10 minute walk through a quiet, luxury neighborhood. Look for the OXXO store and an upscale mall. My one complaint is that the onsite VRBO property manager was MIA. he is slow to respond via WhatsApp and never showed up on property, despite many promises. Make sure you request a water refill, housekeeping, and extra blankets at the beginning of your visit.

Beautiful Condo

Wow! Staying at this beachfront condo was an unforgettable experience. The view was absolutely breathtaking. We woke up every day to the sound of waves crashing and the sun rising over the ocean. The condo was impeccably clean and beautiful decorated. The host, Pamela, was incredible attentive, as well as Gabriel , the property manager, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. If you are looking for a slice of paradise, this is it. We can't wait to return and enjoy this little piece of heaven again.

I recently stayed at this stunning beach condo, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the breathtaking ocean views and the calming sound of the waves. The condo itself was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. The living area was cozy and inviting, with large windows that allowed for plenty of natural light. The bedrooms were serene and comfortable, ensuring restful nights throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the private balcony, where I spent many mornings sipping coffee and evenings watching the sunset. The beach was just a few steps away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sand and surf whenever I wanted. Additionally, the condo complex offered excellent amenities, including a sparkling pools and large jacuzzi. The location was perfect, with easy access to local restaurants, shops, and attractions. The owners were attentive and responsive, ensuring that my stay was seamless from start to finish. The property manager Gabe was friendly, courteous, and extremely accommodating as well. Wonderful Vacation Rental

Lovely location in a peaceful and secure neighborhood. The space was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely fantastic and just a pleasure to be around. Pamela has really thought of everything from the taxi service from the airport to include a stop at the grocery store to the included bottled water delivered right to the condo as needed. The view from the condo is absolutely stunning. This place is a gem and we will definitely be back!!

Fantastic Condo-Highly recommend!

This condo is exactly as shown and described, a beautiful, modern and updated space and very comfortable. Pamela is a fantastic hostess--so responsive and we greatly appreciated all her help in planning our trip as we were not familiar with the area. Her manager and cleaner were awesome. We paid for the mid-week clean and it was so worth it--Gabby did such a good job, down to folding our clothes and organizing our charging cords! We hired Gabriel to take us on an excursion and were delighted to find he was an Omaha boy like us--the trip was great and cost significantly less than if we had booked it online. He took us to a little-known cenote which we basically had to ourselves and to swim with turtles in Akumal (that part I would skip in the future--pricey, we only saw 2 turtles and I got very sea sick). At the end of the trip he introduced us to birria at a little hole in the wall local place that he loved and was SO good--we would have never found or thought to try that on our own. He also responded promptly to any texts/questions we had. We walked over to 5th Ave most days and tried several restaurants on Pamela's list--they were all great. The only one we didn't like was the resort restaurant--just not our style. The snack bar was great-wish it was open for dinner. Highly recommend this VRBO! Taxis are more expensive that expected (start at $25 US for a short ride for 5 people) so if you are comfortable, rent a car to save $.

Great time in Playa Del Carmen

We enjoyed the ocean front condo and are hoping to come back soon. The master bedroom is spacious and is upstairs. Our daughter had a spacious bedroom on the main level. Gabe was the property manager and helped us with water and excursions. There were 2.5 bathrooms which was nice as well. The resort is not crowded at all, as resorts down the beach were packed. Beach chairs were super comfy and we had lunch everyday at El Pescador, the beach side restaurant. We ate at restaurants that were recommended and they were all fantastic. No complaints! The only thing that needed attention were the windows overlooking the beach. They really could use a cleaning. Other than that, we loved the Fisherman’s resort and totally felt safe the whole time as it is a gated community.

Great Condo, Great Trip!

First of all the condo was clean, comfortable, and OMG the veiws of the ocean and pool area were fantastic! I've been to this resort before and always am impressed by the staff and the prperty as a whole. The pool, swim up bar, comfy lounge chairs make for a really nice way to spend the day! Fishermans also has Kayaks, bikes, volleyball, and classes available for free. The beachside restaurant is a great, convenient place to get a cold drink and great food that doesn't cost much at all. If all the tranquility is too much to take, the craziness and fun of 5th Avenue is a short 10-15 minute walk through a beautiful tree lined neighborhood. Finally the condo owner Pamela was super nice and had answers for all my questions with very useful recommendations. I'll definately be back!
