'We loved the condo & resort! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant & snack bar was very good. We also enjoyed the swim up bar. 'This is the most well-equipped apartment we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. We didn't use the outside spaces due to the humidity but they were lovely.We had an issue with one of the toilets during our stay but this was resolved by the host within an hour of us notifying them. I can't get a plumber that quickly at home :)Our only recommendation is maybe a darker curtain for the main bedroom as there's a street light across the road.Location is close enough to Avenue 5 to be walkable...

'This property is in a great location, just off 5th Ave, and is in a somewhat quieter area than that south of Constitution, while being a comfortable walk to that area. Additionally, it is within a 10-15 minute walk to the beaches off Calle 72 and 88. I am just guessing on the history but given that we are literally connected to the ferry pier, this small condo development might have been part of the very first development in playa del Carmen. The rest of the development on the first floor has fallen on hard times with most of the shops closed but luckily that includes the hard Rock Cafe and Senior frogs.
