'We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

'Collaven is een typische Engelse manoir met klasse. Comfortabele kamer. De badkamer is daarentegen een beetje gedateerd. Voortreffelijk ontbijt en gastvrij onthaal. Goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de Dartmoor.'

'Great location; 5 min walk from the Torquay train station and 10 min walk to the waterfront. Clean, well-maintained and charming room and facilities. Good-sized bathroom with excellent amenities. Cute bar, lounge, and reading room. Nice bit of garden in the front to sit and read or bask in the sun. Excellent breakfast. Above all, charming and lovely hosts Wendy and Steve (Thank you ever so much). We will be coming back for sure.'
