'Clean room, helpful staff, appropriate amenities. Parking was a little issue but this was outside of the staff’s control and they provided appropriate alternative parking as our initial space was taken by a member of the public'

'Beautiful location and building.'

'Dichtbij the Hoe en centrum Wuj sliepen in souterain dat was minder.'

'Zeer leuk hotel, proper vriendelijk personeel alles wat je maar wil alleen het ontbijt laat echt te wensen over. Bijna geen keuze, roerei smaakt naar iets dat geen ei is.'

'Everything was good, apart from the coffee at breakfast. Investing in a good coffee machine with decent coffee beans would be a big improvement (I couldn't drink the coffee). Also provide some small espresso cups which many foreign guests would prefer. Despite this small complaint, I would recommend the Hotel. Nioce people, great location, good value.'

'Goed Hotel vlakbij de haven en winkels. Parkeren in een wat mindere garage, wat niet past bij de uitstraling van het Hotel. Liften parkeergarage werken niet.'

'Very bad, mold everywhere. Old rooms everything out of date. Not worth it's money. Last time a booked this hotel. It is dirty and disgusting the state the rooms are in. '

'Was ok'

'Very nice Breakfast and good service.'

'The apartment was really lovely and as described and perfect for our birthday celebration. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a lot of broken glass all over the balcony which we didn’t realise until we stepped on it barefoot. We couldn’t find the outside bins as they were not where described. The access to the property in the evening was stressful as it is located in a very busy bar area which had people queued up to get. Security wouldn’t let us in to get to the apartment and we had to...

'Firs Guesthouse is eenvoudig, maar afgezien van het ontbijt (English breakfast bestaat uit melige worstjes en snoteieren en wordt alleen geserveerd tussen 8-9 uur, weekend 9-10 uur) niets te klagen! Prima ligging, fijne douche en goede bedden.'

'To be honest, I was expecting a little bit more when it said condo. My room is a converted outbuilding about the size of a garage although all the other rooms seem to be in the main building and look a lot larger. The good points close to the city close to the train station is access to shops there is Parking around the corner for £10 for 24 hours and it was quite quiet where I was. The bad not terribly clean dead flies all on the windowsill. The dish cloth had Brown stains all over it the half...

'No one came to clean/empty bins etc for the length of our stay. It was very noisy. Constant doors banging in the middle of the night. Some drunk person knocking on the door after 9.30 pm. Reception staff were fine, but had to request clean towels/extra toilet paper.'

'My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The environment around the hotel did not feel pleasant, with many homeless people around the area. I understand that homelessness is a serious issue, but as a paying hotel guest, I expected the surroundings and overall atmosphere of the hotel to feel more welcoming and secure. The service was also very poor. The following morning, my wife and I went for breakfast and there was nobody available to assist us for more than five minutes....

'Excellent location for Horle or Barbican'

'Too difficult to deal with, needed to upload ID before the stay and kept sending me a link that I couldn’t click on. Right at the last minute offered to text me the link so I could copy it, was too late by then. I decided to stay somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend.'
