'We had a terrific stay at Casa Del Bosque. The view of the volcano and gardens from the bedroom and porch was incredible. You can hear the river that runs right by the house while sitting on the porch in the morning and evenings. It was a great location to enjoy all the activities around La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano. 'We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. We were surprised the sliding doors and all windows did not have screens, but it wasn't too bad.
