'The room was spacious and the kitchen appliances were okay. The dishes were poor. The pillows were terrible; two flat, apparently ancient pillows on a queen bed. The bed linen was likewise underwhelming -wrinkled and not in the least inviting. The bed was also poor and I was kept awake because it was so uncomfortable. 'Donna. our hostess, was warm and inviting. She prepared lovely, exceptional hot breakfasts each morning. The location was convenient to both downtown Charlottetown, as well Queen county, and the Anne of Green Gables venues on the north shore. Our room was clean and inviting. Her garden is beautiful. 'Conveniently located near great food and waterfront. Parking was convenient and plentiful. Staff were helpful. Concerns included the distance between room and pool for the kids, required an underground tunnel or crossing a busy street to access. I specifically booked the hotel because of the convenience of breakfast which was provided in the form of packaged muffins and granola bars which were way too sweet. We also dealt with ants in our room.'

'It’s a nice place and you get what you paid for. It’s very affordable. It’s basically a room in a home. The only issue we had was we did have a distinctive smell of mold or mildew in our room. We could not locate it, but it was definitely there otherwise a wonderful place great location and great staff.'

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '
