'We enjoyed our stay on the top floor of the little castle. The apartment was nice and spacious. We enjoyed the meals in the 'towerroom'. The Trefriw woollen mill and the fairy falls are just a 5 minute walk away. The national park of Snowdownia is just around the corner and Conwy and Caernarfon are within a 1 hour drive.'

'This immaculately presented, cosy and accessible apartment was an ideal base for my elderly father and I to visit North Wales. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable with lots of small details thoughtfully provided; from a very friendly welcome to Welsh milk and Hot Cross buns provided when we arrived. The apartment provided an excellent base for visits to the beaches and sites of Anglesey and North Wales. We hope to be able to return soon.'

'Whilst the property was clean, it needs a lot of work and updating. Felt dark and shabby. Photos of how close you are to the harbour are misleading. Outside area was in need of work and lounger covers badly stained. '

'We stayed for 2 nights, communication with Chaele was fantastic and they were accommodating to us arriving early with our baby which was much appreciated. The apartment was clean and well decorated and only a short walk from the beach which was lovely. The double bed appeared to be broken unfortunately and left both of us with a bad back, as soon as either of us sat down one of the struts fell out and when looking underneath it appeared to be held together in parts with duct tape. The apartment is perfect for visiting the local area.Do not miss osprey watching at Glaslyn and Dyfi or the Dinorwig slate museum. Yr hen fecus is a delightful restaurant 5 minutes away. Beware Harlech castle has a tiny carpark and a very steep hill'

'LLech Y dwr is a very nice, clean holiday accommodation. Everything needed is there. Geoffry and Julie are very welcoming and the environment is great. A good base for a holiday in Snowdonia.'

'The apartment was dated but clean, quite cold even with the heaters, the 2nd bedroom heater didn’t work, the fridge wasn’t working and one half of the recliner sofa didn’t recline. Overall a lovely stay and the issues didn’t affect our holiday as we were only there for a few days but when I tried to contact someone regarding the issues I go no response which was disappointing.'

'The flat is really spacious and well equipped and is a great location for two of the Zip World locations and for access to Snowden. It should be noted that the parking can get very busy depending on how many people are in the flat upstairs. The flat is also very near a main road and therefore there can be significant road noise, so if you are not used to road noise while sleeping then this flat may not be for you. 'This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it.'

'Let the flat for a few days for a Welsh golf tour. There is a pub next door (owner—Josh) with a good selection of drinks. The store owners underneath play music in the morning—rock one morning, then switched to Christmas music the next day. The music was in the mid-early morning so it did not wake us up. One can also smell the bread baking—wonderful way to start the morning. The people in town are also very friendly. We would buy coffee at the shop across the street and get the daily news from...

'We really enjoyed our mini-break stay in this lovely roomy well-presented and clean apartment so close to the sea front promenade and 10 minute walk from the town. There was a little noise with entry /exit of upstairs residents. Really good value for money. Thoughts for improvements: TV capable of receiving terrestrial channels and the bedroom would benefit from a better more comfortable mattress. Highly recommended and we would be happy to stay again.'
