Disappointed beyond belief. When I checked in, I told the agent my trip had been extended and I needed to book another night. She was accommodating, did not indicate at all it was a problem. I found out that in fact it was a problem when the hotel called me and told me I had to leave the room. I had to get a cab from across the river, pack up and move to a different hotel. By way of an explanation, the guest agent told me I should have asked for a confirmation number from the person who checked me in at the hotel. No apologies, no accommodation for my inconvenience, no conversation with a manager. Lack of training and unprofessionalism… from a leader in the hospitality industry? I think not.
