'The bistro, basement “speakeasy,” and lobby bar were all great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The old-timer elevator is cool. The location on the main public square is a big part of the appeal. There are so many shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. You have to accept it’s an older building and not super fancy but you’re not there to stay in your room.'

'We loved our stay at this hotel! The bed was the most comfortable one we’ve had at a hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The grounds were beautiful with a nice patio area outside where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was great, and there was even homemade banana cake. A favorite of ours was the coffee machine open 24/7 that made coffees, cappuccino, etc.'

'Five stars if love quirky, quaint stays that are not big chain hotels. Each room is different and stocked with cute little decorations. You have a patio to enjoy the sun. Downtown whiskey row and restaurants are just a quick walk down the street.'

'The room was clean. More detail was needed on a door that did not have a working Dead Bolt Lock. Some repairs were done, but still needed more attention. The Morning coffee was awesome, but the morning breakfast go bag was not good for a diabetic travelers. The weather was the best and now we are hoping to open a home search in this area. Rick'

'The property and employees are exceptional. It's been forever since we stayed at such a lovely place. Kim, in particular, was a pleasure to deal with at dinner outside on the patio. The park and trees that edge the property created such a haven away from the AZ summer heat. Ted at the front desk, was helpful with all the details, and because this was our first stay, that was beyond helpful. We are already planning another trip back. 'The room was very clean and had everything you would need. While waiting for our room in the common area, there was cereal and other debris on the carpet which looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed recently. Otherwise, the overall cleanliness was good.'

'Classic case of you get what you pay for. Rooms were small. We had 2 double beds. 1 right against the wall and the other right against the ac. The ac grill was all smashed in. Killed 2 ticks in the bathroom. A group of people stood outside their room late at night smoking which filtered into our room through the ac and door. Room smelled of old smoke. We chose this hotel for price and pool. Unfortunately the pool was not working as well.'
