'エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。'

'On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it...

'Goede parkeermogelijkheden. Goede verbindingen met bus naar Edinburgh city centrum vanaf bushalte voor de deur. Vriendelijke medewerkers, en voor ons belangrijk: hond is welkom!'

'The transportation (train and bus) into the city centre was close by and affordable. The beds were very comfortable and the attached restaurant had good food and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this facility to others. '

'This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.'

'Het is een prachtig kasteel,passend smaakvol ingericht en we hadden een luxe kamer, maar een vreselijk slecht matras waar je de spiralen duidelijk voelde. Het ontbijt was erg duur in vergelijking met wat je kreeg. Als ze zouden investeren in goede matrassen zou het hotel van mij een dikke negen krijgen'
