Little House on the Mountain is een volledig gerenoveerde 3 +1 slaapkamer met 1. 5 badkamers boutique vakantie huis gelegen op een rustige 2 hectare groot land met een spectaculair uitzicht op de baai van Quinte gelegen in het prachtige Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.

Het huis is warm en zeer comfortabel, uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt. Er zijn 4 verschillende buitenzithoeken. Het is geschikt voor maximaal 8 en heeft veel ruimte binnen en buiten.

Elke slaapkamer beschikt over uiterst comfortabele luxe bedden, beddengoed en handdoeken.

De familiekamer en keuken zijn verbonden en bieden prachtige, steeds veranderende uitzichten. Het huis is gevuld met een selectie boeken om van te genieten tijdens het opwarmen in het Jotul gietijzeren gasfornuis. De keukentafel biedt plaats aan 8 comfortabel. Nieuwe apparaten en aanrechtbladen in slagerijen maken deze gastronomische keuken een genot om in te koken!

We bieden onze huurders twee seizoenenkaarten voor een bezoek aan Sandbanks, inclusief gratis parkeergelegenheid en toegang tot elk provinciaal park. Wij bieden strandstoelen, parasols en floaties.

Er is een achtertuin patio met zitplaatsen voor 6 plus. Een Weber BBQ is ingesteld voor diegenen die liever grillen.

Een vuurplaats is beschikbaar op het terrein. We vragen gasten om hun eigen hout mee te nemen, hetzij van Picton (Sobeys / Metro) of van een van de wegkantverkopers langs County Roads.

Een nieuwe pergola met tuinmeubilair staat klaar om te ontspannen, te lezen of te genieten van een glas wijn. De Horseshoe-put bevindt zich in de buurt van de vuurplaats.

55 inch tv staat voor u klaar om te genieten in de woonkamer. Grote ramen zorgen voor veel licht.

Er zijn honderden films om uit te kiezen of neem je eigen blue ray of dvd-films mee. We hebben ook Apple TV, VHS & DVD's en een bibliotheek met meer dan 800 films en tv-series.

Buiten is er veel ruimte om te spelen en te ontspannen. Er zijn buitenspellen en een vuurplaats om te zitten en te genieten van de avonden.

Ons huis ligt op 10 minuten lopen van een prachtig restaurant en Pub on Lake op The Mountain. Devil's Wishbone Winery ligt op 3 minuten rijden van ons huis en Waupoos Winery en restaurant ligt op 10 minuten rijden. Picton met al zijn mooie winkels en restaurants ligt op 10 minuten rijden.

Ons huis is een ideale bestemming van waaruit je alles kunt ontdekken wat Prince Edward County te bieden heeft met je familie en vrienden.

We came with 2 seniors, 4 adults and 2 kids under 7. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed everything this place offered. The side room with the couch was perfect to hang out when the kids went to bed - very quiet space apart from the main cottage. Brand new bathrooms were very clean and very well stocked. Photos don’t do this place justice- it’s much more spacious than we thought. Beautiful property- we made use of the Sandbanks passes, Bbq, and fire pit but not the hot tub only because there was no time. Games, movies and books were a plus! Highly recommend for a friends or family getaway.

This property is beautiful! The bedrooms were comfortable. The livingroom was great with lots of seating and many dvds and movies as well as a smart tv. And the bathroom was well stocked with lots of towels and facecloths. Unfortunately, there were at least a dozen lively house flies in the place as well as quite a number of dead ones in the window. Also, while the kitchen had lots of appliances on the counter - kettle, blender, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder - there was only one outlet by the kitchen counter and half of it was to plug in electronics so it was not possible to make toast and coffee or tea at the same time. The only other outlets in the kitchen were too far from the counter or table to use with the sppliances.

The house was cute… comfortable beds and clean. Lovely property. The hot tub was a huge disappointment - the key wasn’t left for us. Why? The hot tub is part of the advertisement for this property, and I had specifically messaged the owners prior to our arrival that we were especially looking forward to the hot tub (that was the main reason we rented this place). Had to call the owner(s) numerous times, only to be sent on a cat and mouse search (both outside and inside). As it turned out, it was kept hidden in an item which was out of reach. We never would’ve found it on our own. We immediately felt that the owners preferred it to not be used (??) because of this. Many phone calls later, we used the hot tub, only to have the temperature drop 7-8 degrees within half an hour - had to get out because it was so cool (82 degrees). More calls made to the owner the next morning about it, only to be told that they control the temperature from their phone - we weren’t allowed to control it ourselves (to turn it up). That is ridiculous. We paid them for the use of their hot tub. We should have been able to control the temperature ourselves. They turned it up, but the same problem happened again, so we gave up. The hot tub was the main reason we rented this property. We ended up only being able to use it twice, and not for long each time. Very disappointed.

We were 7 adults all retiaries. 3 couples and one single. all the couples loved theirs rooms, their bedding, and beds. The single person was not able to squeezed into the small room and those beds were not for adults. She was afraid of not being able to escape in case of emergency. Luckily she was comfortable on the sofa. That person lack privacy. We loved the shower, enjoy the TV. The furniture were comfortable. The kitchen is well stock and we were able to find everything to prepare our meal. Love the choice of coffee makers as we all have our different taste. Maybe some stand in the room for our luggage would be agreeable. The person with MS was able to climb all the steps to the house. The lower set of stairs was not shown on the site pictures. The Hot tub was nice, and well appreciated. One of us hurt a thumb in the front door storm door latch. We will recommend your house to other people but would mention it to be for a group of 6 max. We spent 4 days at the little house on the mountain and had an amazing stay. The inside of the cottage is even better then the pictures and the property and view were great! Our kids really enjoyed the VHS movies and having fires every night. Really close to Waupoos and a walk to lake on the mountain, definitely highly recommended for anyone looking for both a cottage and county experience.

It's a very nice place that we really enjoyed. It's a quiet place with evening that we needed. I was able to communicate with the manager easily for some help at the beginning of our stay. It would be good to mention that the charging station is for camping car because we thought that it was for electric car. We were still able to charge our car with a regular power extension but having the detail could prevent confusion.

This was the perfect place for us to reunite with our three adult sons, our daughter in law and our six week old granddaughter for two nights. This property is very clean, the beds are super comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It is in a great location with easy access to Picton as well as a beautiful view across the water.

The home is very comfortable and clean. Very large property with lawn games and fire pit. The hosts providing a couple of bags of firewood was a nice touch. Everything to make our stay enjoyable was provided - very comfortable beds/bedding, TV streaming services, games, movies, fire pit, bbq, we’ll stocked kitchen, etc. No water access but lovely views of the bay and a quiet, serene environment.

This 4 bedroom house was perfect for four women on our annual weekend getaway! The property is gorgeous--a beautiful gazebo looking out over the water with comfy outdoor furniture, a great campfire area with Muskoka chairs, even a horseshoe pit. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for us to enjoy the outdoor spaces, but in good weather they'd be a huge bonus! Indoors it's outstanding too. A large eat-in kitchen with a beautiful farm table that easily seats 8, 3 large bedrooms and one tiny bunkbed room, 2 beautifully renovated bathrooms, a large and comfy sectional couch, a large TV....I could go on... Lastly I must mention all the extras...chocolates & wine await your arrival, an assortment of teas and hot chocolates, cooking basics--oil, salt, pepper etc. And perhaps best of all, gorgeous linens and pillows for sleeping! I can't say enough about this wonderful property. Fedora and Melanie went above and beyond in their communication and their efforts to make our stay special. We'll be back! :)
