  • Dit is een plek die uit een droom is gestapt - een huisje aan zee op een ver tropisch eiland waar inheemse Hawaiiaanse ganzen naar de deur komen om aloha te zeggen en de oceaan speels tegen de kust spettert. Het zicht, dat moeilijk te vermijden is, is een waterverfzeegezicht geborsteld in blauwtinten. Het is een canvas geschilderd in indigo met de dansende wateren van de Stille Oceaan vervagen in een zonovergoten hemel omzoomd met kantachtige witte wolken.

    Dit appartement is luchtig met twee grote slaapkamers en badkamers. De open eet-, woonkamer- en keukenruimte is volledig uitgerust en beschikt over breedband draadloos internet. Voorzieningen zijn onder andere een wasmachine / droger, een buitenzwembad en een hot tub. Een eigen restaurant ligt op loopafstand.

    Dit appartement, in het Pali Ke Kua-complex, ligt dicht bij de St. Regis Hotel en de stranden voor het hotel. Hideaways-strand, op 10 minuten lopen van Pali Ke Kua, is een klein, afgelegen strand aan de voet van een traptreden dat begint op de parkeerplaats van het hotel. Princeville beschikt over een winkelcentrum, twee golfbanen, een wandelpad en een verscheidenheid aan restaurants.

    Nabijgelegen activiteiten zijn onder meer helikopter- en paardrijden, wandelen, vele stranden en kajakken. De nabijgelegen steden Hanalei en Kilauea bieden interessante winkel- en eetgelegenheden. Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge ligt net buiten Kilauea. Duizenden zeevogels nestelen bovenop steile zeekliffen bij het toevluchtsoord, dat ook een historische vuurtoren omvat.

Perfect spot

We loved our stay here! There is a beautiful view and room for everyone. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. The condo had everything we needed to make meals and plenty of towels! The had all the beach equipment you need. It is far from a lot of the activities we did on the island but it was worth the drive! We will be staying here again! You do have to return the key to the office but it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. 10 stars!

Great Stay in Princeville!

Our stay at Pali Ke Kua 245 was amazing! The views were breathtaking and better than pictured. You can see the ocean from anywhere in the main area of the home. It was peaceful and relaxing. The home had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. My only comment is that I wish there was a keyless entry. You have to go to the rental office to pick up the key and drop off. It’s close to the airport so it wasn’t a big hassle but adds a stop to a long travel day. Thank you and I look forward to coming back one day!

It was clean and fully furnished to make our stay comfortable. The only complaint would be there are only two portable ACs that couldn't cool the space enough, the unit got the afternoon sun and if you stay during the summer months like we did, it gets too hot to stay in after 3pm. It didn't cool down until really late in the evening and I felt sorry for my kids who slept upstairs.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was exactly as listed and very clean. The views and property as a whole was very well cared for. Grounds were gorgeous. Other considerations - on sunny afternoons the condo got very hot (85 degrees +). The cool air recovered at night with the bedroom AC units. There is no central air conditioner throughout. The is also no cross breeze to help according to wind direction (June). We are mainlanders from a very hot area so accustomed to AC. We did enjoy our stay.

Location, setting, aesthetics were all fantastic. The unit is stocked as well as your own home. I wanted to heat up my delicious fish from our dinner at 1 Hotel ( amazing and a 3 minute drive away) and they even had parchment paper to use on the cookie sheet to warm it up! The power went out on the island and they had candles and flashlights !! Every single thing you need for daily life much less a very comfortable vaca!! The ONLY things that need to be changed ; please put a set of dresser drawers in the downstairs bedroom!! The cabinet there is beautiful but useless as it is only shelves and would be much more usefull upstairs in the bathroom for towels,etc! Also, please put a curtain or shutter door in front of the stacked washer/ dryer. It's awesome to have it but as a mom, the last thing I want staring me in the bathroom mirror is a washer/dryer. And last but not least, a YALE lock would be so much more useful then the keyed entrance. One, it's annoying to keep up with and also that it has to be dropped off on your way to the airport. In this day and age, I think very few people on vaca want to have that extra hassle. Little things that would make Pali Ke Kua absolutely perfect. Do yourself a favor and use the concierge service, they are wonderful! We booked ziplining ( amazing!) horseback riding ( gorgeous) and had a Napali Coast boat tour but unfortunately it was canceled due to weather. And the snorkeling at Pali Ke Kua resort is Hideaways Beach and is absolutely the best on the Island and the trek down and up is 100% worth it !! Just don't carry too much. It's a hike but very easy and well paved it's just an incline. The path is between bldg 1 & 2 . Kauai is the best island and you will have a great time if you chose to stay here !! And I'm picky ; ) .

Beautiful ocean views

This was a great condo for our recent vacation to Kauai. The ocean views from the lanai are wonderful. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching whales breaching and all the nenes and other birds who appeared to live on the property. Having access to a beach via the paved path was great. Since this access was limited to property residents/guests only the beach was quiet every day. This beach is mostly shady until later in the day but it is a beautiful beach and snorkeling is possible if the water is calm. The paved path down to the beach is very steep the first 10 feet or so, but as long as you take it slow and deliberate it is very doable, even in flip-flops. The condo was well equipped in the kitchen, had all the appliances and utensils needed. Plenty of glass wear and mugs. We did have to do dishes a bit more often than normal because there was a limited number of plates, but this was fine we just washed our dishes right away. It was wonderful having laundry (washer/dryer) in the condo so we could easily wash our clothes and towels throughout our visit. The condo was very quiet. We only ever noticed minor noise from other condos, during normal hours and usually when someone was outside on their lanai. I don't know if the walls in the condo building were well insulated or perhaps the complex in general is quiet, but we were never disturbed by other guests. While we spent most of our time out and about visiting different beaches and parts of Kauai it was great to have a very large TV that we could easily connect to our YouTube/Amazon Prime accounts so we could watch our favorite shows on the couple rainy days we had during our visit. The only downside which is completely uncontrollable by the condo owners/property management/property is that it was rainy (our fault for choosing the rainy time of the year) so we did have a few cockroaches (the flying kind) come into the condo. I am not talking about an infestation, we saw maybe 3-4 the entire time we were staying at the condo. It is expected that during the rainy season the bugs will end up getting pushed indoors. On the flip side, I did really appreciate/loved seeing the geckos, we more than welcomed them since they eat bugs.
