  • Dit betaalbare appartement met 1 slaapkamer biedt een fantastisch uitzicht op de oceaan. Ontspan op de punee (dat is een zitje bij het raam in de woonkamer - tweepersoonsbed, dus een geweldige plek voor een kind om te slapen) en geniet van de verkoelende bries terwijl je luistert naar de geluiden van de branding en bewonder de aanblik van een zonsopgang boven de oceaan. De slaapkamer is ingericht met een queensize bed. Er is een harmonikadeur die dichtschuift om privacy te bieden in de slaapkamer. Kabeltelevisie en gratis wifi zijn inbegrepen. Volledige keuken. Muntautomaat wasmachine en droger in het volgende gebouw.

    Onze Kauai vakantieverhuur op Sealodge bevindt zich aan het einde van een kleine rustige zijweg, zonder doorgaand verkeer, dat eindigt bij een dramatische oceaanstorm. De Sealodge condos kijken uit op de oceaan aan hun Lanai-zijde. Een korte wandeling van deze budgetvriendelijke Kauai-condos brengt je naar het afgelegen Sealodge-strand. Het oerwoudpad steekt een beekje over en daalt vervolgens af naar een afgelegen, zanderige baai. De oceaan bij Sealodge Beach is ondiep en beschermd door een rif, waardoor het ideaal is om te snorkelen en zwemmen.

    De Sealodge condos zijn gebouwd, zodat u de rollende golven van het witte water vanuit de ramen van de woonkamer, de slaapkamerramen en de Lanai kunt zien. Van alle drie deze locaties kun je surfen horen kijken naar walvissen, spinnerdolfijnen en exotische vogels. Er is een zwembad en een barbecue (grills zijn houtskool en u moet uw eigen briketten meenemen). Kauai hotels zijn duur. The views from the property are absolutely incredible! It was nice to have the cool breeze at night and to listen to the waves however, when it rains you must shut the windows and it does get warm. Most of the rain we experienced was short in duration. The house had all things we needed to cook and eat meals and even gear for the beach. I would definitely return to SeaLodge!

Stay was great - quiet complex with beautiful grounds. We loved the trail down to the secluded private beach, which was just steps from our unit. The ocean views are unmatched and visible from the main living area and the bedroom. Check-in was a breeze and we appreciated the kitchen essentials - blender, toaster and coffee maker. The washer and dryer in the unit was a luxury. We were a little concerned about no AC, but it ended up not being an issue. There were two fans in the room and we slept great, never hot. My only complaint is that neither the living room window or bedroom window opened and the sliding glass door was very difficult to open. When we had asked if the windows opened, they responded that they understand the windows are difficult to open. We would have liked to have heard the ocean at night. We will definitely stay here again!

Incomparable view, window sunbed literally above the cliff near crashing waves, turtles and rays swimming below, sunrise line of sight, etc. A couple minor fixes needed with bathtub faucet sticking (pull with both hands with full bodyweight), a ceiling lightbulb out near window, and screen door wheels sliding off the track

The stay was amazing! The location was beautiful and the sunrise was to die for! Had some grumpy downstairs neighbors but that had nothing to do with this amazing booking! Will definitely stay again!

What a view!

The unit is perfect for a party of two and the view is fantastic! The unit is older and could use a little updating, however, the location is both quiet and scenic. We would definitely return to this property!

The views from the condo were outstanding. The condition of the unit was good, but a bit dated (especially the carpet and bathroom). Parking was very easy and accessing the unit was similar. Information was very clear and while I understand some renters don't care for properties properly, I felt somewhat put off by the list of charges that I would incur for different items. The two issues that were a bit frustrating for us were the lack of sheets that fit the "day bed" in the living room. There WERE sheets in the linen closet, but they did not fit that mattress. Also, in the dryer, the lint-trap cover was not secure and worse that than a couple of my wife's shirts were ruined by something from the dryer that left stains. A superintendent visited after my initial complaint about this and determined a seal on the dryer had failed. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but there were definitely "hiccups".

Whales and sea turtles

Great value! We saw whales, sea turtles, and birds from our condo, and we enjoyed magnificent sunrises with the lighthouse in the in the distant background. The condo had beach chairs, snorkels, a small cooler, and beach towels... all we needed for a day at Anini Beach.

Beautiful Views

Great location as far as the views from every window and lanai. We got to see whales which was a plus. The unit itself is comfortable - the kitchen had great cookware and we ate dinners in. The living room furniture could use some TLC and be updated. Also don’t be surprised by the weather beaten outside - inside is worth every penny for the view.

We had wonderful weather, and the property is perfect for a couple. Amazing views from each room. Washer, dryer are helpful. A beach cooler made day trips perfect. Will be back. Would give it 10 stars.

Perfect View, clean and nice amenities!

We loved the view! Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean right in front of you was amazing. We enjoyed going on the balcony frequently and listening to and looking over the ocean. This is such a nice place to be and everything related to our stay here was amazing. Check out seaside beach too! One thing we wish we did differently would be to spend more time around the condo and relaxing but if we went back to Kauai we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality! All the things for us to use were really nice and made the trip even better!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy our time at sealodge. There were some hangups this time but we still enjoyed the stay overall. Hangups were the internet didn’t work in the beginning and took a few back and forth communications to get it going. Biggest disappointment was the dryer had been ruined by a previous guest but housekeeping didn’t notice so we didn’t have a dryer for our 8 day stay.

This visit our unit was having kitchen upgrades that were not done by the time of our arrival. Kauai Kahuna was extremely helpful in communicating with and relocating us to another unit. We loved the Condo, but not the Manager.

We had a great time in this place! Beautiful view!! Very close to facilities. It had everything we need it, except enough toilet paper, two rolls for 2 people for 10 days. I called the manager many times with no response. I left two voicemails and finally she called back the next day and said she advised the housekeeper to leave some for us, but the cleaner never did. I went to knock on the managers door with no response. We went and bought some, very expensive in the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view can’t be beat! Stunning sunrises. There is no AC, but with the ocean breeze, it’s not a problem. There were two fans available to use. We moved the smaller one to the bathroom counter when getting ready, and put the tower fan on top of the dresser at night so it was at the same level as the bed. We slept very comfortably temperature wise. The mattress isn’t the greatest, but it was okay. The back cushions of the couch fit on the chairs on the lanai, just saying 😉 Otherwise those chairs are hard. The kitchen had a slightly musty smell that seemed to be coming from the sink. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, binoculars, and umbrella! The Turkish beach towels were great also. They dry so fast. Beware- the tub was very slippery. Use the handrail!! Also, if the louvered window next to the front door is open at the same time as the other windows, the door will get ripped out of your hand and slam shut. Hold on tight to that handle!! I could see someone’s fingers getting seriously hurt. The location in Princeville was fabulous. We felt like it was really easy to get everywhere from there. The Princeville Center had everything- restaurant options (live music nightly), a hardware store, grocery store, post office, and more! Right near the condo. The Sealodge Beach trail hike is a little tricky but very much worth it. The beach is so private and beautiful. We actually visited that beach the most, over other bigger beaches (Anini, Poipu). While the condo itself isn’t the most bougie or updated in terms of furniture, decor, etc., it was a great home base with enough amenities that we never felt like anything was lacking. There are quiet hours from 9pm to 8am and you aren’t supposed to be in your lanai talking before 8am. I believe the lady in the unit below this one lives there year round. We were very comfortable here. We would definitely stay again.
