'Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at Villa Stefania. The privacy of the pool is perfecto! No air conditioning except one room and tucked away from touristy area so a bit of a trek to see things. Our host Giovanni was exceptional!'

'The place is a nice house but the walk with luggage is tough! Even if you can find a cab right to the street it is a steep hill that takes 5-10 mins that has to be climbed each day to go do something. Make sure you are in good shape if you rent this house. Besides that the house is great and check in process perfect. I had to rent a hotel room as well because my husband was not able nor willing to do the walk in and out each day and night.'

'This house was a perfect home base from which to explore the island. Francesco was very helpful, even arranging for a taxi to take us from the port to the house. It’s an easy walk to Ischia Ponte (if you don’t mind a couple of hills!), which has great restaurants and shops, and of course, Castle Arogonese. Easy bus or taxi access to see the rest of Ischia. We loved our stay at il Lauro Villa and would definitely stay here again!'
