'Un immense merci à Franck et Gilbert pour ce séjour merveilleux 🙏🌸 Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et nos chiens étaient au paradis des toutous. Tout était parfait. Le gîte est exceptionnel, magnifique au calme avec une belle piscine et tout est fait avec goût. Au milieu de la nature, mais à proximité du village, notre chambre était spacieuse et la bonne humeur de nos hôtes ainsi que leur générosité nous a immédiatement mis à l’aise et nous reviendrons bien sûr avec grand plaisir....

'In a word - PERFECT. Our host was just wonderful and made us feel very welcome and at ease. The accommodations were spectacular, very spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. The location is fantastic - only a very short drive from the many attractions, shops, and restaurants in Lourmarin, Vaugines, and Cucuron. Literally in the heart of Provence, with perfect serenity of the countryside - and yet so close to many towns and villages'

'Fabulous accommodation! The room was a great size, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and lovely. Overall, everything was great. We were only in Avignon for one day and one night, but the accommodation definitely did not disappoint. The location was also excellent, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Our only disappointment was the late checkout. We asked if we could stay an additional two hours and were told it would cost €50, which I found...

'I would highly recommend the L'Ombre for anyone traveling and wanting more of a residential stay in Avignon. I was supposed to be staying in a hostel that ended up being so gross and disgusting I looked for a new place the same night I checked in. L'Ombre made my time in Avignon'
