1/5 – Overbooked, Unsanitary Conditions, Unprepared for Capacity
We booked a Suite Crown Plus category room (with either a partial view, sea view, or oceanfront — as confirmed by the receptionist at check-in). Based on the room tier and pricing, we expected an elevated experience. That was not what we received.
From the beginning, the resort appeared significantly overbooked and unprepared to handle the volume of guests.
Restaurant reservations opened daily and were fully booked within approximately three minutes. Despite attempting every day of our stay, we were unable to secure a single dinner reservation. At an all-inclusive resort, dining access should not feel competitive or unattainable.
The buffet experience was also disappointing. Food was frequently cold, quality was inconsistent, and overall it felt as though the resort was not adequately prepared to support the number of guests on property.
The property was severely overcrowded. Guests were lining up around 3:00 AM each morning just to secure pool seating, with lines forming daily. This level of overcapacity made it impossible to enjoy amenities that are advertised as included.
Room conditions were unacceptable for a suite-level booking:
• Dirty sheets upon arrival
• Mirrors covered in visible splatter and streaking
•Mold growing in blackout curtains
•Large hole in the balcony wall
•Broken, unstable bedside table
•Refrigerator barely cooling
•Toilet paper holders detaching from the wall
