Bait and switch. I booked a 2 bedroom, hot-tub, ocean view. The photos on the site were not the photos of the room I received. I tried to get this addressed, but person checking us in, their shift ended and he needed to leave. The next day we tried to address it again and there were no other rooms. We were offered messages to correct the error. The room we booked was 3200 sq feet, the room we stayed in was half of that size and we’re on the first floor. People were throwing things over the balcony, people were walking in front of our balcony, so we couldn’t enjoy our view.
I also found the excess pressure to tip for everything was stressful, especially considering all-inclusive should take that stress away. In addition, when buying an all-inclusive plan, that is supposed to cover everything, but we were constantly told that meals, or options were an additional charge. Perhaps the person that did our check in didn’t do a good job with explaining everything, which left me feeling like a second class citizen during my stay. In fact, at one point our concierge told us that is why we should pay to become a member, then we wouldn’t have to worry about getting the wrong room or having to pay for services. I paid for 3 nights, all-inclusive, meaning I paid for everything up front, but then getting a smaller room, without all of the options I paid for, then being charge additional for meals and drinks, this place was a scam. I would never return and I will tell everyone I know.
