'Comfy bed and terrific view from the 38th floor. Hotel is showing its age, however, the service from the staff is exceptional. Do bear in mind that a 'destination fee' or in other words a 'resort fee' is payable. It is mandatory and will set you back $35 (+ tax). The fee itself gives you $35 of value to use in the eateries in the hotel, but it won't stretch far. Buffet breakfast costs a whopping $50 + tax, service charge and gratuity...That's an expensive breakfast for a family of 4! ;-)'

'If you want to step back into 1977 Long Island, this is your place. Really disappointing. First entire day we had no hot water in the shower. Finally we had to change rooms. What a hassle. Hotel didn’t even apologize…or offer to help us move our stuff. Fridge in the room didn’t work and there was no way to adjust the lukewarm temperature.
