'Our stay was incredibly disappointing due to the poor customer service. We arrived to find that the heating/air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, and with outside temperatures below freezing, the room was extremely cold. The only solution offered was a small fan heater, which barely warmed the room. When we asked if anything else could be done, we were simply told the technicians had gone home and there was nothing they could do. There was no effort to move us to another room, offer...

'Basic room with basic amenities. Pretty clean, although uncertain on how well the carpet was hoovered. Nice, comfortable bed, with good pillows and clean sheets. Shower pressure was atrocious.'

'Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.'
