'Relatively new and clean hotel with friendly staff.'

'The rooms are showing their age although upgrading has apparently begun. Staff are friendly but the hot water was turned off for several hours and the dining room remained closed even after hot water was restored. No compensation was offered, not even complimentary coffee.'

'Only one elevator in the building was working. I was initially charged for parking, but that was never mentioned at check-in. I was able to get that reversed (days later) when I communicated that I did not utilize their parking as my son lives in the apartments next door. This hotel has gone down hill in the last few years and does not represent the Hilton standards or the rates that they are charging.'

'This is literally my second home when I visit Tuscaloosa. It's always nice, quiet, clean, and welcoming. The Staff is always amazing from the late night shift workers to the day shift workers. The breakfast is nice, warm, and hot. Always a great selection of choices for breakfast - I especially love their grits, the different variety of meats they serve, and not to mention their all-famous Cinnamon buns. #ToDieFor# They also have healthier breakfast selections as well like fruits, yogurt,...

'Elevator was out, I am handicap and moving luggage downstairs was horrific. I have a broke neck which makes me unable to look down or sideways, therefore walking downstairs is more than dangerous for me. Elevator was out for several days. '

'Parking was easy. The AC Unit was loud and very disturbing when it kicked on, the bathtub was pretty gross. I originally booked a room with 1 King Bed, when I called on my way to confirm my room, as I was arriving late, I was told the King Bed rooms were filled. Which was fine b/c my daughter ended up wanting to stay in the room, but when I got there .. even though they already filled my reserved King Bed Room, they charged me more money for the room with 2 beds ... Bad Business'

'Didn’t see or have to use a business facility but the dining atmosphere was sufficient, they had all of the essentials, breakfast was a country feed w biscuits and gravy, you could smell the butter on the biscuits. It’s a renovated hotel with all of the rooms on the inside, it’s a Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell and Jacks within walking distance or less than 30 sec drive, gas stations also.
