It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. 'We had such a peaceful, relaxing stay! Being surrounded by nature and having the comfort of the cabin was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful, as was the cabin itself. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked. Check-in was easy and Erika was responsive to communications when I had a couple little questions. The outdoor picnic table and Adirondack chairs were great, and we loved the boardwalk and quiet beach. So glad this stay was dog-friendly! Would stay again.'

'We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket....

'Beautiful, clean, and nicely decorated cabin. The hot tub was clean and well thought out. I loved the twinkle lights on the cabin and hot tub gazebo. They gave great ambience! I highly recommend this cabin and will stay again the next time we visit the U.P. '

'For a first timer being nervous it was really good. All the things it said it would have it had and more. It was nice to be off the grid and away from people. Plenty of bath towels and extras. I was use to a gas grill and this was a charcoal, so needed to provided own charcoal. But otherwise it had all the things to make meals as far as utensils went. '

'The evening stars and morning birdsong were magical at Cranberry Lake Lodge. Many varied types of hiking trails in the area. The cabin is comfy, cosy, and super clean. Absolute quiet of the location was a treat for us city dwellers!'
