'Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. 'The best part was a very very comfy bed. Not much else to praise. The property is way up the hill from the beach and bars and it's a rather steep walk. There was a fridge and sink and table setting for 10 but only one drinking glass and only a tiny rubish bin in the bathroom. The bathroom was poorly designed and easily floods and there was black mold. No soaps or anything provided and the towels had holes in them. Also the fan was broken.'

'A charming, old-fashioned hotel in the center of Waterford. The staff is helpful and friendly, although the service in the bar and restaurant was a bit chaotic.'

'A lovely warm welcome with a real family feel to the B&B - extremely helpful too. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding using many local products and the extra homemade treats are delightful. Location is lovely with surrounding countryside - highland cows, sheep and deer whilst at the edge of the village.'

'Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.'

'Zeer vriendelijk behulpzaam personeel, prima restaurant ook voor nette prijzen. Ook ontbijt was goed. Enige jammere: Relatief duur parkeren op de kade tegenover, geen specifieke korting als hotelgast.'

'Kamer was oké, maar ontbijt ondermaats voor wie geen English breakfast eet. Prijs- kwaliteit niet oké . Kamer oud maar net. Ligging van het hotel is oké, parkeergelegenheid van het hotel zelf een luxe gezien weinig mogelijkheden (tenzij duur) in de buurt.'
