'We hebben het geweldig gehad in dit schitterende huis. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en het zwembad groter dan wij verwacht hadden. Luca stond voor ons klaar wanneer wij hem nodig hadden en had hele goeie tips voor leuke eet tentjes in de buurt. Het huis zelf is oud en mooi, maar alles werkt erg goed. De plekken om buiten te zitten zijn heerlijk voor zomeravonden en ook om overdag in de schaduw door te brengen als het te warm is. Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit huis.'

'We njoyed it so intensely the house is perfect and has got everything you need. It is far much better than on the photo’s. With 4 adults there is enough space also sit somewhere else and have a moment of private space. The area outside with the table is a real good place to njoy lunch, dinner and to play games. 'We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.'

'We had a very nice holiday. Beautiful house, nice swimming pool, lots of privacy. Location is beautiful, but somewhat remote. This means it takes a little longer to get there, via a challenging road. Also no reception for 4 or 5G, WiFi is limited. No problem for us, more time to read, play games and relax. Plenty to see in the area, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Pistoia etc. We ate at El Paso Trattoria Pizzeria in Lucca, highly recommended!'

'Absolut empfehlenswertes Mietobjekt mit einer sehr netten Gastgeberin und dem Rundum-Sorglos-Paket. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Ein sehr großzügiger Garten rundet das Mietangebot perfekt ab.'

'I stayed in the house with my family and grandparents. The house is spacious. We loved the living area. The pool was great. The bed- and bathrooms were neat and tidy. And what surprised us the most was how well equipped the kitchen was. If there was a minor point, than it was only the last part of the road. You need a good/big car to drive up here.'

'La casa está a 100 metros de la estación de tren Pieve Saliceto. Y tiene rutas cada hora a Parma Central. Los días domingos solo funciona el bus y el tren no. Para tenerlo en cuenta. Sugiero que lleven su supermercado antes de llegar a casa porque no encontramos nada cerca. Para descansar y desconectarse está bien esta propiedad. Alex el anfitrión siempre estuvo en comunicación y responde rápido. '

'I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. There was a sofa for 2 facing a wall, with your back to the views of the hills, which felt odd. Personally, when I book an apartment for 4 people I expect 4 people to comfortably be able to sit in the lounge at the same...

'We had just a magnificent time at Borgo degli ulivi. Alessandro, Angela and their family are most welcoming, kind and helpful; offering great suggestions for things to do and places to eat.
