'My girlfriend and I started our first stay on the island here. We are very low-key, off the beat and path type people, so Daphne's Villas were a great stop. These villas are about 40 years old with all the original infrastructure still intact. They have charm, great hosts, and are on a large piece of property that resembles paradise. 'Tasteful and modern property in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the waterfront but incredibly peaceful. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. Pool area was lovely although it wasn’t quite warm enough in October to get in! As it was cooler, would benefit from the provision of some blankets, and the house and outside seating area were quite shady and cool which would be great in high summer but a bit too cold in October. 'We stayed in Fede apartment for 7 nights with our 7 year old son. The apartments are of high quality and are comfortable. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The pool area is lovely and kept clean with a toilet and shower. The property is well located to walk into town and Giaos is great base with lots of great bars, cafes and restaurants and access to boat trips. I would recommend a drink at the far end of the harbour - back towards the port. really peaceful.My only warning would...
