'We stayed at The Goatshed during the off season. Lots of rain ( even a "named" storm ) during our stay, and still it was absolutely magical. Everything we hoped it would be ! The villages in the area had lovely tavernas and incredible bakeries as well as grocery stores well stocked with everything you need. I spent a morning sipping coffee and listening to a Greek Orthodox memorial service being chanted nearby, another morning we watched the neighbors harvesting olive trees. The Goatshed itself...

'I had a wonderful stay in Ikaria. The house is very cozy and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 'A really well set-up cottage and studio with generous space to spread out and feel at home. All the fcailities we needed to self-cater, socialise and relax. The village is a lovely setting with access (a good walk) to beaches and diverse local towns and coastlines. We used this stay as a base for walking and we found lots of trails within close driving distance. 'Our stay at TCottage was nothing less than perfect! The lovely house was equipped with everything, it was very cozy and the sea was within 10 steps. It was quiet with a lovely garden and we really enjoyed the little boat and supboard available for us! Terry is a lovely host, we had a very warm welcome and she even made a little welcome basket with traditional Greek food and homemade jam. 'Wir haben die Zeit in Marias Haus sehr genossen. Ein perfekt ausgestattetes, gepflegtes, sauberes Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Die zwei Terassen und die Außendusche runden den Wohlfühlfaktor komplett ab. Wer himmlische Ruhe sucht und trotzdem nicht gänzlich von der Zivilisation abgeschnitten sein möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Dorf in schönster Berglage besticht durch sein angenehmes Klima.
