Pleasantly surprised to learn that there were kayaks available on property right next to lake shore that could be signed out for one hour at a time for no additional cost to guests. 'Nice place! Communication with the host was excellent. If you are short, be aware the bed is tall. Comfortable but too tall to sit on to put your socks on. Would not stop me from staying there again. didn't use the pool but I have to rate it to post this. '

Riley answered all our texts or any questions we had.We spent time in Truckee, Tahoe City, South Tahoe and Kings Beach. Did a lot of shopping. 'The unit was older then I envisioned and it sure showed , The carpet needs to replaced ASAP there were numerous stains throughout, several blinds were broken and cracked, living room lamp was falling apart, the couch was uncomfortable, appliances were out dated. The thing we were most disappointed with was the lack of AC in the unit although there was a thermostat but it didn’t blow cool air They do provide a couple of box fans which helped with the uncomfortable conditions though '
