'Huisje ligt heerlijk rustig op een groot stuk grond, met een eigen zwembad. Behalve vogels, pauwen en kikkers hoor je niets. De keukenuitrusting is erg basic. Twee gezellige katten. Wij hebben steeds bij Petrokino in Mixorouma gegeten, een paar minuten met de auto. Daarnaast zit de supermarkt/bakkerij.'

'Not a good situation or experience with this property. We arrived at the local beach (beautiful) and enjoyed our day. At 4 pm I messaged the host to see if we could check in(check in after 4 pm on listing) and was told property not ready and to come at 6 pm and we said ok. We arrived at 6 pm to the property to find property in disarray and place absolutely nothing like posted pictures(pictures likely 5 years old). 'The house is very conveniently situated in a fairly calm section of the Old Town. Everything you need is in walking distance. The furnishings are simple and functional, and the roof terrace has a nice view of the harbor (in the distance over the roofs all around). A great place to relax when it's not too hot out. 'My family's stay at the cottage was wonderful. The home was spacious, clean and mostly comfortable (although the beds were a little bit too firm for my family). The mountain and sea views were fantastic! Herbert was a kind and gracious host and was always available in case we had any concerns. 'There are many positive things to say about the villa, but what we most liked was: the architecture of the building. All the rooms face the same view. There are no stairs, there is only one step from the verandas to the large pool of which the water level is equal with the terrace, no edges around the pool and there is a shower. 'We had a great stay, lovely setup for a family, kids have the two single beds and parents upstairs with own ensuite - The plunge pool is exactly that, clean and cooling, our 9 and 12 year old still loved using it despite its size and its all you really need when the sea is only a few minutes walk. There is a pebble beach at the bottom of the road which was ideal to explore with snorkels while my wife could sunbath. 'We were so excited to stay at such a beautiful history-filled place right in the heart of Old Town. The restoration of the Venetian era home was expertly done and managed to keep the feel of the time while having all the conveniences of modern life.
