'I’ve stayed here in 2021, I love Sayulita and this is one of my favorite places to stay. Now they have room service from Sur38 which you get credit for staying there and a discount! Juan and Aaron were super attentive to all my needs. Highly recommend this place. The infinity pool has a beautiful view, and it’s walking distance to EVERYTHING! Did I mention that there is a hammock in every room?!'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Makawe. The rooftop was a great place to start our mornings with a good cup of coffee. The room was clean, the A/C worked well, and we enjoyed the balcony of the king suite! It was nice having a well-equipped kitchen for making snacks and keeping cold beverages on hand! Not sure if we will ever return to Sayulita, but if we do, Casa Makawe will be at the top of our list.'

'The location and building amenities were super. The unit was more like a hotel room rather than a studio apartment. The ‘kitchen’ is a very tiny area, not conducive to cooking anything. That aside it was very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the unit had a partial ocean view. I would stay in that building again.'

'Nice new building with a lovely pool and pool deck. Only downsides were: it was a fairly long hike north or south to the nearest towns. So be prepared to walk unless you have a car. Kitchen was missing some basics. I would also suggest a few more amenities in the suite such as a few books to share; an info sheet on things like the wifi code, what to do with garbage, etc. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.'

'Everything was perfect right from the time we booked this hotel. Check in was seamless, staff is super friendly and the whole property is spotless. We had a family suite on the bottom floor and it was perfect, lots of room for our 3 young kids. There is plenty of bottled water on each floor, a good pizza shop attached to the building plus a convenience and beer store less than a minute walk up the street.
