'As per main comments, some of the soft furnishings, particularly the sofas are past their best and require renewal. Both bathroom’s flooring could do with replacement and some remedial work to address blackened silicone sealant etc. is required. The lodge is still nice but starting to look slightly tired in places. Not a big task to get it to an excellent standard once again.'

'Lovely quiet area. Nice that there's only four lodges. Wild life is fabulous. The lodge has everything you need for your stay, plus the added bonus of TVs in the bedrooms.Great that there is no mobile phone signal, so it's very relaxing even though there is internetNot too far into Masham for groceries. Our only criticism is, and it's personal preference, is that the sofas are a bit to low for us.The dog loved watching the rabbits and squirrels. Will visit again'

'A typical Yorkshire styled house with plenty of space for a large group. Well equipped kitchen and large family dining table. Bedrooms with comfortable beds and sufficient bathrooms made this an excellent holiday stay for a 9 persons family. Very conveniently located near some popular Yorkshire sightseeing locations.'

'Just excellent.'

'Lovely place , will go back again . Very quiet and relaxing .'

'Stayed in this lodge twice, we love it. Everything you need is there'

'Brilliant lodge with everything you will need.'

'Anne, out host, had thought of just about everything and a bit more. The annex is compact with a friendly feel to it and all equipment is excellent quality. Anne’s efforts to welcome us with necessities went beyond expectations and our stay was without hitches of any kind. Brilliant!'
