'We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were.'

'This VRBO location is a wonderful remodel of downstairs, this quiet hosts live above with a separate entry. Spacious rooms, large closet space, new appliances include a laundry pair (although we didn't use those). The bath is gorgeous, but the shower door allows a bit of water to leak at the bottom. If you are a future guest, do the host a favor by wiping water overflow from the base at the door, before it drops down to possibly damage the floor. Otherwise perfect!'

'Marilee was super accommodating and easy to communicate with! Highly recommend if you’re going to be in wine tasting area. The house is very clean, well equipped and charming.'

'The place was as advertised. The kitchen was obviously a new addition. It met our needs. However, there are not a lot of pots, pans and other cooking utensils. If you are cooking for more that 2 people or preparing a meal that requires a lot of pots or pans or special utensils to prepare the dish you might want to bring what you need as there is only the bare minimum. Great location for hiking and visiting wineries. We would return.'

'Had a fantastic stay at Il Respiro! The pool is fantastic so we spent most of our time going down the slide! Would be great if there were plastic cups and plates since you'll likely end up mostly outside taking advantage of the fresh air and watching the local wildlife.'

'My grown daughter and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend away. It was very quiet and easy. We saw deer in the morning and were able to go to town quickly for our a pedicure and groceries. We had a wonderful weekend in this small and peaceful home.'

'This house was so beautiful! It was huge! It had so many amenities from the pool, BBQ grill, ping pong table, cornhole, pool table, basketball court, pickle ball etc. Absolutely loved the decor and how spacious the house was esp the kitchen. Great for large families. So many places to sit whether it be the large dining table in the atrium or in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the media room and watched movies together there. The kids loved to see the frogs in the pond. Everything was just perfect...

'The property is charming and as stated in the listing. the main issue were ants throughout, which should have been sprayed for or notify us that we would need to spray. Elsie is very responsive to any needs or questions.'

'Close to quaint historic Placerville ( check out Sweetie Pies for breakfast) and 70 minutes from Lake Tahoe. This condo is equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere. Nice layout with the bedrooms upstairs and living area below. A good home base to rest after a day of exploring. We will be back.'
