'I’m very picky about cleanliness and details. Compared to other places we’ve stayed, this was my favorite. We wanted to experience the eateries in the area, and I was on vacation from cooking, so we didn’t use much in the lovely kitchen besides coffee mugs and a few glasses and silverware. Nearly everything was provided that we needed and then some. Would book it again, for sure!'

'The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. '

'Clean, beautiful views, very close to Fayetteville dining, hiking, and attractions. Porch was nice to sit on. Nice kitchen appliances. Wish there was a toaster and a place to dispose of dog doo. Love the dog friendliness. Highly recommend and would book again if in the area!'

'This was a nice house to stay in. With 10 of us we filled the space but everyone was comfortable. We had two adults and 8 kids and stayed one night. The area is really nice. The kids loved throwing frisbees in the backyard and swinging on the tree swing. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was nice to have a good place to do laundry! '

'We had a fantastic stay at this quiet and clean cabin! The property is absolutely beautiful, with a spacious backyard and a great grill setup for outdoor meals. We were treated to amazing wildlife views every day, which made the experience even more special. The kids especially loved fishing in the pond! The location is also perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short drive from New River Gorge National Park. A wonderful place to unwind and explore the area. '

'We had an amazing 3 night stay here. Would of liked to stay longer as we missed some good hikes. The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable with plenty of space. There was plenty of good literature on the area at the house that was useful when planning activities. With all the houses ammeinaties we never had to go without. CLOSE TO EVERTHING! With such a short stay, it was nice to only spend 10 minutes in the car per activity to get to several amazing hikes and rafting. A short...

'Horseshoe Acres was great! There was plenty of room for our family (6 adults & 3 teenagers), and every room was immaculately clean. The long tables inside and on the deck allowed for meals, games, and conversation, and the theatre, popcorn machine, hot tub, and yard, were hits for our group. 'Perfectly cozy. Smaller house but it was all my husband and I needed. The house has a very nice remodel. Close to everything in Beckley and state parks. Would stay there again.'
