'The breakfast was okay but they never served bacon. The pool and hot tub needed to be cleaned. The gym was good enough with lots of cardio and free weights. They had a secret $12 a day parking fee that they didn’t mention until checking in.'

'The property is well cared for, for such an extravagant facility. The steakhouse and cafe are both wonderful. Great staff and tasty dishes. Do yourself a favor and order something fired in the oak bbq pit. Our room was clean and pleasant. Lots to do onsite, but be ready to pay more than average. Most everything is pricey, but fairly worth the experience. Would definitely visit again!'

'Top locatie aan de haven dichtbij de Morro rock. Leuke bakkerijtjes dichtbij en restaurants. Kamer was klein maar prima, alleen bij aankomst lag de vloer vol met wat leek op honden haren. Bij navraag werd de vloer alsnog schoongemaakt. Het top laken van het bed zaten vlekken in. Verder prima.'

'Easy check in, clean room albeit a bit noisy. We heard the people in the room above walking around and using the shower. The children enjoyed the pool and it was convenient to have an ihop next door for breakfast. '

As for the potential downsides, lots of bird poop on stairs and handrails. Housekeeping skipped our room during the week we were there even though we asked for a mid-stay cleaning/sheet swap, and the walls are a bit thin so you hear every door slam and ruckus from the adjacent rooms. 'Erg leuk typisch Amerikaans hotel! Kamers zijn niet ruim maar voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Sommige kamers hebben een aparte keuken. Het hotel ligt aan de hoofdweg naar de boulevard en dat kan af en toe wat geluidsoverlast geven. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en de locatie voortreffelijk!'
