'Our entire family loved this place so much. We were greeted by a sweet orange cat and he went on a long walk later towards the woods after we visited with all the friendly farm animals. We saw horses, goats, steers, alpacas and a large tortoise. It brought me back to my childhood growing up on our family farm in Wisconsin. The views are incredible at any place you look. We sat on the porch and watched the sunset and then went to the back and started a fire on the very nice patio with a grand...

'Prachtige locatie helemaal alleen in de weidse natuur met dieren (kat, ezel, paard en heel veel bijzondere vogels en vlinders. Mooi meertje om te zwemmen of varen/roeien. We hebben genoten van de wandelingen direct vanaf het huisje naar Spy Rock en met een paar minuten rijden naar Crabtree Falls. Goed ingericht huisje, maar kleine (wijn)glazen zouden handig zijn, en eventueel ook gordijnen als je langer wil slapen dan zonsopkomst. '

'We rented this gorgeous home for three generations of our family to gather together as we reconnected and visited family sites in Monterey and McDowell. I normally visit The Homestead area of Bath Co and knew that this property would be well maintained because of the management connection. I was not disappointed! The property is even more lovely than the pictures and was a perfect weekend retreat for the eight of us, who ranged in age from 20 - 84!'

'Our stay at the Maury House was exceptional. Thehost was accommodating ( we arrived an hour early) and available. The host responded to my questions immediately. The house is beautiful, well appointed, and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. There were seven in my group and the house could have held many more a d be very comfortable. Highly recommend! . ..'

great road hotel, will stay again.
"Good location for travelling, even close enough to drive downtown Staunton. Hotel grounds very neat and good parking, first impression inside very clean and open and very friendly staff. Room was spacious and quite clean, bathroom needs some professional plumber do the caulking and removal of mold, though generally clean. Breakfast was quite varied, with as well choices for a healthy breakfast, though also very sugar loaded choices. Service at breakfast was perfect, the ladies kept all super clean and tidy!! Environmentally the breakfast was horrible, only Styrofoam, even melting plates under my toasted bagel, coffee cups melting, cutlery just unusable - please change to paper (recyclables)!? didn't use the gym or pool, but gym looked light and spacious. would stay again!"
