'We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area. '

'What an amazing find for the Granddaughter's graduation. A beautifully appointed farm cottage complete with hot tub, sauna, massage chair and fire pit. Bikes, tire/porch swings, rocking chairs for enjoying the Shenandoah Valley. Jeff was the most responsive and gracious host since we booked last year answering all my questions promptly. This was the best VRBO property we ever booked. We wish we could have spent more time there. We will be back!'

'Ellen & her husband Dennis were very hospitable. Dennis helped us when we locked our keys in our car. He went above & beyond. They saw that we had FRESH oysters at our cookout. Our only issue was FLIES, mosquitoes & the heat. We understand this is that time of year however, if we could've closed off the back porch, could have turned on the fan, & maybe had some citronella tiki and/or candles. The split units in the house were a little hard to understand, so parts of the house were at times hot....

'Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house is secluded while yet being very close to town. There were pots and pans in the kitchen that were not clean, which would be the previous renters faults not the property owners. If you are a picky chef planning on cooking you may want to bring a few of your own pots and pans. There was a previous review about needing a little bit of maintenance. There are a few areas in the house that could use some new paint, it certainly won’t impact...

'We had an amazing stay at The Baker Farmhouse. We were a family of five and booked this property for 3 nights. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The fireplace in the living room adds a nice touch. There is TV in all the rooms. The bathroom was clean and had enough towels. There are farms around it and it is nice to see the cows grazing. 'What a wonderful and lovely stay! The farmhouse is stunning, and it was so neat to see the 1790’s side of the house connected to the 1988 side of the house! The house is beautiful and the master bedroom bed was so comfortable. The pool was absolutely refreshing and the sunset views couldn’t be beat.
