'The avid is a great hotel to stay at in Richmond. The avid chain is very consistent with clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and amazing coffee!'

The staff was not friendly at all, not even a hello when I walked in. The receptionist bluntly asked for my ID as if I were a prisoner. The breakfast was enjoyed more by staff than patrons. The eating area was messy from spilled food and none of the staff bothered to clean it up. They just sat around on the few chairs and tables...

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'
