'Wanted to take the family out for their last weekend before school started back up and this was exactly what the family needed! The host was extremely accommodating and responded quickly on any questions we had. We brought a 22’ wakeboat and was nervous about the water being so low but we managed to unload and load it using the private boat ramp! It is steep so 4 wheel drive is definitely required but thankfully we were able to do it all without having to go to a marina. The private dock was...

'We all enjoyed the great swimming pool and the kids all caught fish in the pond. The house was extremely well-furnished, especially with toys and games for the children. The layout of the house with the game/tv room a wing of its own meant the adults could talk or nap without the kids’ noise bothering us. We played badminton and went on the nature trail. 'We loved everything about this charming house. Communication with the host was awesome. Every detail for your stay is thought out. We stayed for the July 4th weekend while in town visiting family and the 4th of July fireworks show at the nearby Franklin Park was great! A true gem and I’m so glad I found this home for our stay.'

It's remote enough in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains for peace & quiet but close enough to town (about 17 minute drive) to get to the grocery store, gas station, and very yummy Joe's Coffee Shack where I got a Caramel Machiatto everyday :) Definitely book this if you want to retreat and spend time alone or with...

'Our family enjoyed the stay in this house offering a clean pool to swim in, access to fishing and kayaking all surrounded by peaceful and beautiful nature. Kids loved farm animals around the house! The kitchen and bathrooms were clean! Thank you Angelique!'

'We stayed here for a wedding at a nearby vineyard. It was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Our host were lovely and communicative. We would highly recommend staying here.'
